Garbno mansion is a mansion - grange unit offered to rent or co-invest.

The web page presents the mansion, its' localization, history and photo gallery. To all those that might be interested we also present business potential and a detailed arrangement plan and description of the unit.

The mansion - grange unit is located in the central part of Mazury, a region that is a part of the Euro region - "Europe's Green Lounges". This guarantees fresh air, breathtaking nature and unique attractions.

The mansion - grange unit is located in the north part of Garbno village (germ. Lamgraben) in the Korsze community and Warmińsko - Mazurskie Voivodship. It lies next by the road Kętrzyn - Bartoszyce along an asphalt local road leading to Drogosz. A river called Struga Rawa" splits the unit from the village (where old buildings of a workers community have preserved). From the west - the Guber river is the border to surrounding green-fields.

The present spatial arrangement of the unit dates to the end of the 19th century when most of the grange buildings have been built. The mansion itself has been raised in the 2nd half of the 19th century along with the park.

The real estate includes two plots of a total area equaling 10 ha 2314 m2 including the mansion with a courtyard and 6 grange buildings of a total in-house area of ca. 4 500 m2 , an old park, Guber river, brook Struga Rawa, bridge.

The spatial arrangement of the mansion with the surrounding buildings is protected by the conservator. which means that the buildings have to remain in the current spatial arrangement and the mansion ought to be restored to its' pre II World War condition. The insides of the buildings may be modified with no restrictions though and the grange buildings may be adapted to new needs as long as they remain in the present spatial arrangement.

I.Mansion with courtyard (building 1 and 2 on the picture)

[view simulations: Manour, Front side - view from the park]
Built in the II half of the 19th century, rebuilt in 1912, renovated in 1972. Built on the plan of a rectangle. Made of bricks, with an usable attic and a basement. The roof is finished off with Dutch tiles. The inside of the building is missing the original equipment/furniture it was rebuilt in the 60-ties and 70-ties of the previous century. The basement includes presently an ca. 150 m2 old kitchen with daylight as well as other typical basement units. The area of the building equals - 1 441,0 m2, the space - 10 129,0 m3.

II.Grange buildings - have been renovated and modernized in the 70-ties of the 20th century which has caused them loose most of their monumental values. Out of the initial 9 grange buildings only 6 have made it to present times. There is a possibility of reconstructing the non-existing ones (building 8, 10 and 11 on the picture) [view simulation: Bird's eye view - in detail]. The remaining buildings - all in different technical conditions - create a very harmonic grange unit:
  1. Grain silo - built in 1960, a lone standing one floor brick building with no basement and a usable attic [view simulation: Reception hall]. The area of the building equals - 427,5 m2, the space - 1 539,0 m3 (building 3 on the picture)..
  2. Cowshed - built in 1922, a lone standing one floor brick building with no basement and a usable attic. It has an additional roofing along the side wall. The area of the building equals - 588,0 m2, the space - 1 646,4 m3 (building 4 on the picture). [view simulation: Interiors]
  3. Cowshed - built in 1922, a lone standing one floor brick building with no basement and an attic. The area of the building equals - 602,0 m2, the space - 2 287,6 m3 (building 5 on the picture). [view simulation: Living part]
  4. Fodder warehouse - built in 1959, a lone standing ground floor brick building with no basement and a usable attic. The area of the building equals - 410,0 m2, the space - 1 148,0 m3 (building 6 on the picture). [view simulations: Tavern, Tavern front side, Tavern - inside]
  5. Barn - built in 1922, a lone standing ground floor brick building with no basement. The area of the building equals - 492,0 m2, the space - 1 869,6 m3 (building 7 on the picture). [view simulations: Riding stable, Riding stable - innside]
  6. Barn - presently nonexistent, with the possibility to reconstruct. The area of the building equals ca. 2 000 m2 (building 8 on the picture). [view simulations: Wellness area, Wellness area - Jacuzzi, Wellness area - Swimming pool / Bowling, Wellness area - Swimming pool]
  7. Stable - built in 1959, a ground floor brick building with no basement. The area of the building equals - 156,7 m2, the space - 438,7 m3 . Stands together with a Grain Silo with and area of 251,7 m2, and space of - 654,4 m3 (building 9 on the picture). [view simulation: Stables]
  8. Household building - presently nonexistent, with the possibility to reconstruct. The area of the building equals ca. 500 m2 (building 10 on the picture).
  9. Living building - presently nonexistent, with the possibility to reconstruct. The area of the building equals ca. 600 m2 (building 11 on the picture).

III.Park kept within the original borders - between the mansion on one side and communication infrastructure (roads) on all the other sides. The spatial arrangement has been seriously modified in the 70-ties of the 20th century but it still presents - together with the mansion and the grange buildings - a homogeneous spatial arrangement with a serious historical value. Its' composition - together with clear boundaries, small brook, bridge and a driveway creates a big historical, esthetical and natural value. [view simulation: Park Island]
